Once the API Key is generated, the first step of the integration is to select MAX Service Desk and begin the setup process.
Please note the integration options are only available when logged in as a Superuser or (non-Classic) Administrator level access, a login with the required General permissions enabled or the Agent Key (where Dashboard access is enabled).
On the Dashboard go to Settings, PSA Integration and Setup
Step 1: PSA Product
Select MAX Service Desk from the Product drop-down in the Step 1: PSA Product dialog and click Next to proceed.
Step 10: Confirm Setup
The next stage of the process is to confirm you wish to proceed by clicking on Finish.
This command not only sends the API Key to MAX Service Desk but also opens up its portal to continue the integration setup.
Please note, where the API Key was not generated prior to starting the integration process the setup will stop and prompt for the token to be created. If this is the case please exit out of the dialog and navigate to Settings, General Settings, API to Generate the API Key. Once complete return to Settings , PSA Integration, Setup to restart the process.
