Where problems are detected with the entered credentials, both the north pane and Summary tab show the network as alerting.

The network's Summary tab may also provide additional details of the cause of the issue, for example: One or more of the credentials provided for this network appear to be invalid. This can negatively impact the accuracy of Network Discovery. Please edit this network and correct any invalid credentials.

  1. Select the network in the north pane.
  2. Go to Networks > Edit selected network.
  3. Choose the problem credentials, for visibility these are highlighted with a red cross.
  4. Choose Edit.
  5. Amend the details then Save.
  6. OK save changes.

Network Credential changes are communicated to the Discovery Agents and applied the next time the network scan runs.
