To ensure the Network Device Alerts reach their intended recipients, we have included the option to configure the Alert Routing Settings for Network Devices. This is configurable at the global and Device level
|4.||Expand Network Devices|
|5.||Choose the target Entity from all Network Devices, down to specific Site|
|6.||Enable the required Setting|
|7.||Setup the Office Hours and Out of Office Hours Email and / or SMS addresses|
|8.||For emails, you can opt to Send Check IDs in the Alert’s Email Headers|
|9.||OK once complete to save and apply|
|1.||Login to the Dashboard|
|2.||Go to the Network Devices tab|
|3.||Right-click on the Device in the north pane or from the Device drop-down|
|4.||Choose Alert Routing Settings|
|5.||Select On to customize settings|
|6.||Setup the Office Hours and Out of Office Hours Email and / or SMS addresses|
|7.||For emails, you can opt to Send Check IDs in the Alert’s Email Headers|
|8.||OK once complete to save and apply|
When configured at the Device level, the device's Alert routing settings excludes it from any subsequent global alerting changes.
Please be aware that we only allow the use of one delimiter - comma or semi-colon - per multiple email string. As such a mixture of commas and semi-colon on a single list may result in the non-delivery of an email.
