Internet Explorer Compatibility View

Why am I seeing this page?

This page is returned when we detect an attempt has been made to access the Dashboard using Internet Explorer in Compatibility View, as unfortunately the Dashboard does not support this mode.

As such it is necessary to disable Compatibility View for the URL you are attempting to use to access the Dashboard and depending on your version of Internet Explorer this can be achieved by following the below steps:

Internet Explorer 10

Where Compatibility View is enabled, any websites running in this mode are indicated in Internet Explorer's address bar with the Compatibility View button clip0552

Simply click on this button to disable Compatibility View for the Dashboard URL.

Compatibility View can also be disabled for a specific website by clicking Alt to display the top menu, then go to Tools and untick Compatibility View.

Your Compatibility View settings may be configured from the Tools menu.

For example highlight then RemoveWebsites you've added to Compatibility View, toggle the options to Display intranet sites in Compatibility View and Display all websites in Compatibility View as well as Include updated website lists from Microsoft.

Please note, we have observed that in some cases the option to Display intranet sites in Compatibility View must be disabled to permit full Dashboard control.

Once configured as required click Close to apply these settings and exit the dialog.

Internet Explorer 11

Internet Explorer 11 introduced a change to Compatibility View with this only available via the Settings menu, rather than the previous address bar button option.

To disable Compatibility Mode for the Dashboard URL, click on the Settings cog clip0549and select Compatibility View settings from the menu.

In the returned Compatibility View Settings dialog choose the Dashboard URL in the Websites you've added to Compatibility View, click Remove.

This dialog also includes the options to Display intranet sites in Compatibility View and User Microsoft compatibility lists.

Please note, we have observed that in some cases the option to Display intranet sites in Compatibility View must be disabled to permit full Dashboard control.

Once configured as required click Close to apply these settings and exit the dialog.
