Network Control and Linux

In Linux, EDR Network Control is not registered as a firewall product. Network Control works in parallel to the Linux firewall. If there is a conflict between the Linux firewall and the EDR Network Control firewall rules, the EDR Network Control firewall rules have priority.

Network Control on Linux adds the EDR Network Control firewall rules to any firewalls that the Linux endpoint enforces. The EDR Network Control firewall rules have precedence. If a third-party firewall blocks a packet, but the EDR Network Control firewall firewall allows it, the packet is allowed.
