Step 4: PSA Specific Settings
Configure the following settings as the default values when creating tickets and time entries in ConnectWise.
|Enable Client Sync||
Create Dashboard Clients as assets in ConnectWise. Synchronizes updates and deletions of Clients to mapped assets in the ConnectWise.
|Enable Site Mapping||This option allows you to map your Remote Monitoring & Management to their counterparts in ConnectWise.|
|Enable Site Sync||Create Dashboard Sites as assets in ConnectWise. Synchronizes updates and deletions of Sites to mapped assets in the ConnectWise.|
|Enable Device Sync||
Create Dashboard Devices as assets in ConnectWise. Synchronizes updates and deletions of Devices to mapped assets in the PSA. Removing a Device from the Dashboard (including workstations due to inactivity) marks the Device as inactive in ConnectWise.
Where enabled, a removed then re-added Device may create a new device item in ConnectWise.
|Service Board||ConnectWise Service Board the Dashboard generated tickets are assigned against|
|Ticket opened status||The default new or opened state of Dashboard generated ConnectWise tickets|
|Ticket closed status||The default closed state of Dashboard generated ConnectWise tickets|
|Company Status||The status applied to new companies in ConnectWise when created from the Dashboard|
|Company Type||The type of company applied to new companies in ConnectWise when created in the Monitoring Dashboard.|
|Setup Name||If using the ConnectWise MSP Solution Module, enter the Name from the Management IT table to only integrate with those customers assigned to the specified Management IT Solution|
The ticket opened and closed states are retrieved from the selected ConnectWise Service Board. If these drop-downs are unavailable, navigate to the Service Board in ConnectWise, review its Statuses then add the required status for each entry if required.
