Link Accounts and Assets

Where a check failure is reported a new Ticket is created in CommitCRM and automatically linked to the Account which is associated with the Site specified for the Device of the failed check.

If the Site is not associated to any CommitCRM Account, a temporary Account is created with the Ticket is linked to it and to avoid the creation of temporary Accounts, all Dashboard sites should be linked to the equivalent CommitCRM Accounts.

Only when all Accounts are associated to Sites, a System Administrator should enable the integration.

Link Account to Site

Before starting to work with the integration, an Administrator must first link all CommitCRM Accounts to the equivalent Sites on the Dashboard .

This step is required in order for failed checks to open Tickets under the correct Account.

Link Asset to Device

Before starting to work with the Integration, an Administrator must first link all and CommitCRM Assets to the equivalent Devices on the Dashboard.

This step is required in order for failed checks arriving to open Tickets under the correct Asset.

Where the External Link Manager is only available in read-only mode it may be necessary to change the CommitCRM Privileges
