Alerting
In addition to Dashboard notifications, failure email and / or SMS Alerts can be sent when following conditions occur:

To setup alerting go to Settings, Alerts, Alert Policy on the Dashboard and choose the Service Alerts tab in the Edit Alert Policy dialog.
Configure the Default Settings for each service by ticking the radio under the required alert types and click OK once complete to apply. The Alerts will then be sent to the Alert Routing addresses for that Client.
* Inbound Mail Delivery Issues are those that would cause the mail services to queue (DNS resolution problems, network connectivity problems, or temporary 400-level errors from the customer mail server).
* Sync Service alerts are for Active Directory synchronization issues only.
