There may be devices that have a history of communication problems (for example where they have a less than stable internet connection) and to reduce the number of Alerts generated by these devices it is possible to increase the number of retries as well as the retry interval used by the Advanced Monitoring Agent when it attempts to upload data to the Dashboard servers.
This change is actioned directly in the Windows Advanced Monitoring Agent
|1.||Login to the Agent|
|2.||Select Edit Agent Options|
|4.||If Comm's Error: Retry Policy, set the number of retries as well as the interval between retry attempts. By default this is set to Number of retries: 3 | Retry interval: 10 seconds|
