You need to have Documentation Manager enabled in order to integrate with ConnectWise Automate. Please contact your Partner Development Manager if you are interested in enabling this feature.
Now that you have finished configuring the ConnectWise Automate Integration in Passportal, you are able to begin using your newly imported data. This topic describes the new features available with your assets as part of the ConnectWise Automate integration.
Accessing ConnectWise Automate Assets in Documentation Manager
You can view any synchronized assets from ConnectWise Automate by navigating to any client you have chosen to sync and simply selecting Assets.
Selecting any of the assets displays a screen providing Asset Information including Name, IP address, Type, Last logged User, Domain, User Defined Fields, and many others.
ConnectWise Automate Features Available in Assets
You can view additional audit information from within Passportal by selecting the Audit Devices Icon .
This will allow you to gather additional Automate asset information without needing to log in to Automate.
Software On Device
You can view information on what software is installed on this asset from within Passportal by selecting the Software On Device Icon .
This will allow you to gather additional information without needing to log in to Automate.
You can launch directly to this asset in Automate from within Passportal by selecting the Launch Automate Icon .
This will launch you directly into Automate, and take you directly to the asset you are working with.
You can re-sync this asset with Automate from within Passportal by selecting the Sync Device Icon .
You can view and revert to older revisions of an asset from within Passportal by selecting the Icon .
