Enable Backups

To enable a new Exchange, OneDrive or SharePoint device or to add a new service to an existing domain for Microsoft 365 backups, add the domain to the Backup Management Console using the appropriate steps below. Before you begin, ensure you have met the necessary requirements:

The following account types are required:

  • A SuperUser account for the Backup Management Console (for adding domains and initiating backups and restores)
  • A Global administrator account for Microsoft 365
