Access a system state restore for devices no longer using SolarWinds Backup

If your customer chooses to stop using SolarWinds Backup, they can still access the information that was backed up. This ensures the customer still has access to data in the event of a system crash.

The only restore after canceling the SolarWinds Backup service is a system state restore.

You need to download backup recovery software and install it on the devices that require the data restore.

  1. Click Actions > Download Agent/Probe.
  2. Click the Third Party Software tab.
  3. In the SolarWinds Backup Software section, click the Recovery Console link.

The browser downloads an executable to install the Recovery Console. For more information on installing and using the Recovery Console, see the Recovery Console Guide.
