Restore files to a device

In the event that a customer accidentally deletes or overwrites files on their device, you can quickly restore the latest backup, or an instance in the past for them.

  1. Click ConfigurationBackup ManagerMSP BackupDashboard.
  2. Click the name of the device and click Launch backup client.
  3. Click Restore.
  4. Click the Files and folders tab and locate the file(s) or folder(s) to restore.
  5. Click Browse to select the location to restore the files to.
  6. Click Restore.

SolarWinds Backup copies the files from the cloud to the selected location on the device. For information on restoring files, see the SolarWinds Backup documentation.
