Add customer devices to SolarWinds N-central to begin monitoring and maintaining the devices.
In SolarWinds N-central, a device is a network device such as a router/switch, printer, scanner or storage; a Mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet; or a Cloud Service device, such as an Office 365 resource or other SaaS.
Add a network device
- Click Views > All Devices.
- Click Add.
- Select the appropriate option from one of the following:
- Create a New Discovery Job: See Adding and Editing Asset Discovery Jobs.
- Import Devices: See Import devices located by asset discovery.
- Install a Windows Probe to Discover the Network: See Installing Windows Probes.
- Install an Agent on a Single Workstation or Server: See Installing Windows Agents.
