The SolarWinds N-central server must have a valid SSL certificate issued by a valid Certification Authority (CA).

Apple Push Notification Service certificate

For SolarWinds N-central's Mobile Device Management capability to work effectively with iOS devices, you will need to generate an Apple Push Notification Service (APNS) certificate that is unique to your SolarWinds N-central installation. SolarWinds MSP does not provide this certificate but provides a wizard to help you obtain one from Apple Inc.

For more information, see Manage Apple push notification service certificates.

APNS certificates are not required to manage Android devices.
