To enable communication between MSP Manager and SolarWinds N-central you must configure MSP Manager to integrate with SolarWinds N-central.
Integration can happen at the System and Service Organization level:
At the SO level, you can define different configurations for each SO. This enables any SO administrator modify integration settings.
At the System level, only the Product Administrator can modify the configuration.
Before completing the steps below, you must first create an account in MSP Manager and complete the SolarWinds N-central integration. For more information see the topic "Integrate SolarWinds N-central with MSP Manager", MSP Manager documentation.
- Click Administration > PSA Integration > Configure PSA Integration.
- In the Choose your PSA Solution drop-down, select MSP Manager.
- In the Integration Credentials area, enter the user name and password for the MSP Manager integration account. For more information see the topic "Integrate SolarWinds N-central with MSP Manager", MSP Manager documentation.
- In the Ticketing Errors area, enter an email address where SolarWinds N-central sends error email if networking or configuration issues prevent it from creating a ticket in MSP Manager,
- Click Save.
When the MSP Manager connection is verified the slider moves to On.
You can later change the sender email address in Administration > Defaults > Customized System Email.
