Configure SolarWinds N-central to communicate with Help Desk Manager
For SolarWinds N-central to integrate with Help Desk Manager, you need to configure it to be able to communicate with the Help Desk Manager server.
You can configure your Help Desk Manager integration with SolarWinds N-central at either the System or the Service Organization level.
At the SO level, you can define different configurations for each SO. This enables any SO administrator modify integration settings.
At the System level, only the Product Administrator can modify the configuration.
- Click Administration > PSA Integration > Configure PSA Integration.
- From the Choose your PSA Solution drop-down menu, select Help Desk Manager.
- In the Integration Credentials area, enter the address of Help Desk Manager and the API Key.
- In the Ticketing Errors area, enter the Email Recipient that SolarWinds N-central sends error email if networking or configuration issues prevent it from creating a ticket in Help Desk Manager.
- Click Save.
The Testing connection dialog box appears while the Network Address and API key are being verified.
When the connection has been successful, you will see a toggle set to ON next to Help Desk Manager in the Choose Your PSA Solution drop-down, and below that, the version of Help Desk Manager that you are connected to.
